Camp Augusta is nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada foothills near the historic gold mining town of Nevada City surrounded 80 wooded acres rest on the west shore of beautiful Lake Vera, about an hour and a half Northeast of Sacramento. Learn more than you ever thought you would about relating to children in a manner that supports their growth and independence.
Counselors will also serve as activity area instructors and will take lead on maintenance for a few activity areas after they’ve learnt what is needed. All counselors teach activities, but you tell Camp Augusta which ones you’d like to teach - there are over 100 choices, plus your creative additions.
There are a wide range of jobs available at Camp Augusta including camp counselors, kitchen staff, program directors, village leaders, sports / arts staff and a nurse job.

Camp Augusta
Camp Augusta is an 80 acre, non-profit, residential summer camp located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Northern California. We are a small camp with 90 campers per one to two week session and 50 staff.
