Horse Riding Summer Camp Jobs

Work as a horse riding instructor in the USA. As a riding specialist you’re likely to be in charge of both teaching the campers and looking after the horses, so it’s a pretty intensive job.

While some camps will have their own horses and stables, some offer ‘horseback riding’, as you’ll come to know it, as an optional off-camp activity. Facilities vary from camp to camp so while some may have basic wooden stables, others will have a much more advanced set-up, complete with trail rides and jumping facilities. It’s important to go into any summer camp programme with an open-mind and flexibility- remember, it’s not the facilities that make the summer, it’s you!
